Trigger Point Theory

A trigger point feels like a knot or a small lump that can range in size from a pinhead to a pea. In the long muscles, a trigger point feels like a short piece of cord and can easily be mistaken for a tendon.

During massage, the trigger point will be painful, but the pain is necessary to return the muscle to its normal state.

The Pyraback™ with its pyramid points in contact with the paraspinal muscles will function exactly as a human hand to release those trigger points.
